The Barbed Tower

Some news comes late, some comes early, others are in time but only gossip is the latest news. Most residents of both kingdoms were discussing gossip now because they have already heard the news from their esteemed monarchs. Everybody was interested only one thing in the essence. Who or what was freed from the Evil Mountains?! And what dangers are now threatening to all the inhabitants of the kingdoms and barbarian lands.

Meanwhile, while most of the known world was looking for answers but someone knew the true cause of the activity of the Evil Mountains in one place, namely in the Barbed Tower. The Barbed Tower stood right in the middle of a huge peninsula which, with its uneven crescent relief, enters straight into a raging and huge ocean Kurh. The Barbed Tower itself was named by local residents trolls so because it has a round shape and the walls are sharp like thorn bushes. The sharp bush was taken for the main material in the construction of such a grandiose building. The most respected, green and warty the Barbaric Leader, Tukum, ruled the country of trolls. It was he who sat on a clay throne and ruled over his grumpy, pirate and vicious nation. The tribe of trolls was a fear and a pain to most of the neighboring peaceful and kind kingdoms. The kingdoms were hard with such grumpy neighbors. Then why do all suffer these barbarians, you ask?! The answer is simple but sometimes the most obvious is so hard to see. The leaders and their whims make hostages of their own desires any nation. Trolls are not the most vicious nation but their quick temper does not make them kind. Trolls themselves suffer most from their own character.

As you may have guessed, it was the Barbarous Leader Tukum, originally from the Barbed Tower, who was one of the secret conspirators. He is one of those who personally took part in the latest events of the awakening of the Evil Mountains.

By strange coincidence, other conspirators arrived at the Barbed Tower at this time. Apparently fate still does not like evil people and makes every effort to stop them.

“Greed, avarice, envy and a lust for power are driven by our world. And we will soon be at the very top,” said the Leader of the trolls with a hoarse and slightly lisping voice.

Today he dressed in the most elegant clothes from scraps of skins, teeth and even a crown of skulls of dragons. His interlocutors, in one word, were his direct opposite. Their true appearances are the strict black color of the mantles and the black boots like the resin. This is not strange, since all three strangers were black magicians from the very depths of the Evil Mountains.

“No, Tukum. SHE will rule the world! And we will be her faithful servants,” sounded a sudden voice from under the black hood. But the leader was sitting next to them and it seemed all three black magicians speak simultaneously together. He shook his head to take off the obsession from himself.

“I never understood you!” barked Tukum annoyingly. “Do you not need power and gold for the Black Mages?”

“No!” answered they together calmly. "We need only she."

“You, Black Mages, are strange,” said leader with vexation. “But did she even come?”

“Yes, it is, Leader. She came into the world!” said the black magician with love. “Soon, very soon you will be able to see her,” said they quietly.

“That's good! That's fine! Let us discuss the price of her freedom!” said joyful Tukum loudly. He rubbed his huge green hands.

“Yes, you will talk about it...” said the black mages. They disappeared into the air without warning like shadows on a sunny and fine day. Perplexed Tukum was left completely alone.

“Always like this...” said the Leader of the Trolls doomed. “The main thing is not to discuss with them. It's neither the cost of services, nor the benefits of work, nor even the plan of robbery and an occupation of these proud, wealthy, kind, trusting creatures from the Kingdom of Meerkats.”

Unfortunately Black Mages know how to hide well and mix up traces. We don't know where the three went but we know one thing for sure that they are waiting for evil and black, their favorite work. We also know and can confirm that strange and mysterious events for all residents began to take place in the “Water Temple” of the Kingdom of Fish. That kingdom was between the Evil Mountains and the continent Diopken.
